MOORESTOWN, N.J. (AP) _ Tabula Rasa Healthcare Inc. (TRHC) on Monday reported third-quarter net income of $7.7 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.
The Moorestown, New Jersey-based company said it had net income of 41 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 8 cents per share.
The results fell short of Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 10 cents per share.
The developer of health care software posted revenue of $33.3 million in the period.
For the current quarter ending in December, Tabula Rasa Healthcare said it expects revenue in the range of $37.5 million to $39.5 million.
The company expects full-year revenue in the range of $128 million to $130 million.
Tabula Rasa Healthcare shares have climbed 89 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $28.26, more than doubling in the last 12 months.
