(LIVX) ("LiveXLive"), a global digital media company focused on live entertainment, today announced that Tad Ro has joined LiveXLive as Head of Product. Based at LiveXLive's Los Angeles headquarters, Ro joins the company with extensive experience in digital media and product management for brands including Verizon Digital Media, TMZ, Virgin Mobile, Spin Media and Rhapsody.
As Head of Product, Ro will drive the product vision and strategy across LiveXLive's music platform, which includes LiveXLive and Slacker Radio, and will work closely with executive management and the engineering, design, marketing and sales teams to develop and launch LiveXLive's next-gen mobile, desktop and OTT/SVOD apps. He will also manage the engineering and product staff across all divisions and offices.

He joins LiveXLive from Verizon Digital Media Services, where he served as Director of Product Management. Over the course of his career, he has innovated, developed and launched digital products across mobile/web/OTT platforms and connected devices that have won numerous awards, including NAB Best of Show Award in OTT/TV Technology (Verizon Media Xperience), Mobile Excellence Awards for Best Social Network/Mobile Service (Virgin Mobile), and Webby Awards for Mobile/Apps/Website News (TMZ).
