Tarek El Moussa’s Girlfriend Shuts Down Comparisons to Christina Anstead
Luxury real estate agent and Selling Sunset star Heather Rae Young struck back at social media followers who accused her of trying to alter her appearance to look like HGTV's Christina Anstead, dismissing such claims as "ridiculous."
“Are you trying to look like Christina?” one Instagram follower asked the former Playboy Playmate as she began to answer fans' questions after being "jet lagged and awake."
“How would I be ‘trying to look like someone?'” Young asked, sharing laughing emojis. “Last time I checked, I’ve looked like this my whole life.”
“Yes, that’s my ultimate goal, and I even rushed to a doctor to change my whole appearance!” she continued. " Come on guys ... Let's stop being ridiculous."
Indeed, a simple Google search confirms Young's assertion that she has not altered her appearance in order to look like Anstead, who is the ex-wife of Young's current boyfriend, Tarkek El Moussa. Together, the former couple host the original Flip or Flop, which has spun off into new cities outside of Orange County.
But there is no beef between the women in El Moussa's life. In a subsequent fan question, Young was asked if she gets along with Anstead. "Yes, we do," she responded.
Young and El Moussa announced they were a couple over the summer, and their relationship has progressed at a sprinter's pace. The new couple appeared to move in together after just two months of dating. Their dads have met each other, and Young has also earned the affection of El Moussa's 8-year-daughter, Taylor.
El Moussa asked Young on their very first date what her dream car was, later gifting her that white hard-top Ferrari when she turned 32. (Now that's a gift!) For Thanksgiving, the pair went on a romantic trip to Europe, which included stops in both Amsterdam and Paris. While in the French city, they dined at Le Jules Verne, the restaurant located inside the Eiffel Tower.
From the looks of it, this epic love story is only beginning.
