  • Taylor Swift is often open about her insecurities, including her height.

  • She revealed she "didn't like being tall" when she was young, but is now confident in her own skin.

  • Taylor doesn't even mind a bit of teasing from fellow celebrities about her 5'10" frame.

Taylor Swift's music has certainly evolved throughout her career, as the 29-year-old has gone from country sweetheart to pop star in just a few years time. But regardless of genre, one thing about Taylor has always stayed the same: Her songs are truthful admissions about her life, and fans love her for it.

The Reading, Pennsylvania native has always been honest with her Swifties, even if that means talking about her insecurities. Although Taylor is comfortable with herself now, she wasn't always this confident-especially with her height.

"I didn’t like being tall when I would walk up to a group of girls, and they were all a head shorter than me," the singer, who is between 5'10" and 5'11", revealed to Girl's Life. However, in regards to self-consciousness about her stature, the Grammy Award-winning artist learned to "Shake It Off."

"When I can put on a pair of four inch-heels and walk into a room and be taller than everybody else, now I look at it as a good thing," she said.

Taylor also said she doesn't have restrictions for people she dates based on their height, either. "I don’t have any height limits," she said. "Like, if a guy is shorter than me, that’s cool, if he sweeps me off my feet, you know? If a guy’s taller than me, that is cool too." For what it's worth, her current beau, Joe Alwyn, is 6'1".

In fact, Taylor is so comfortable now, that she doesn't mind when her friends (lovingly) poke fun at her. Lorde once called her a "beautiful giraffe," while Taylor and pal Ed Sheeran, who stands 5'8", like to take turns teasing each other, as this Instagram video proves.

"I just want to start by saying that this is what he does. He elevates himself, just like, geographically, so that he can seem better than me," Taylor noted, as Ed cut in that he really is trying to appear "taller."

"It's only because you wear heels all the time," Ed quipped. "Look what I did for you today!" Taylor responded, as she kicked up her foot fitted in a sneaker.

We adore the fact that Taylor loves the skin she's in-and has a sense of humor about it, too!
