The Hamilton, Bermuda-based company said it had net income of 5 cents per share.
The results met Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was also for earnings of 5 cents per share.
The oil and gas shipping company posted revenue of $232.5 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $135.2 million.
The company's shares closed at $1.35. A year ago, they were trading at $1.
