ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) _ TeleTech Holdings Inc. (TTEC) on Wednesday reported a fourth-quarter loss of $614,000, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Englewood, Colorado-based company said it had a loss of 1 cent. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 42 cents per share.
The results missed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 46 cents per share.
The customer engagement management company posted revenue of $344.9 million in the period, which beat Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $339.6 million.
For the year, the company reported profit of $33.7 million, or 71 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $1.28 billion.
TeleTech expects full-year revenue in the range of $1.32 billion to $1.33 billion.
TeleTech shares have climbed roughly 1 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $30.70, a climb of slightly more than 7 percent in the last 12 months.
