Templeton Emerging Markets Income Fund ("TEI") Announces Dividend

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL--(Marketwire - Sep 14, 2012) - Templeton Emerging Markets Income Fund (NYSE: TEI) today announced its quarterly dividend from net investment income of $0.25 per share, payable on October 12, 2012 to shareholders of record on September 28, 2012 (Ex-Dividend Date: September 26, 2012).

The Fund's investment manager is a wholly owned subsidiary of Franklin Resources, Inc. (NYSE: BEN), a global investment management organization operating as Franklin Templeton Investments.
