LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) _ Tempur Sealy International Inc. (TPX) on Thursday reported fourth-quarter net income of $12.3 million.
On a per-share basis, the Lexington, Kentucky-based company said it had net income of 22 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 90 cents per share.
The results did not meet Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of eight analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 96 cents per share.
The mattress maker posted revenue of $676.1 million in the period, topping Street forecasts. Seven analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $656.6 million.
For the year, the company reported profit of $100.5 million, or $1.82 per share. Revenue was reported as $2.7 billion.
Tempur Sealy shares have climbed 32 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has risen slightly in the last 12 months.
