A Tesla investor slammed Elon Musk in a tweet Friday for "killing the company with his antics."
Joe Cirincione told Musk to "get off Twitter" as the value of his shares has been "cut in half."
KoGuan Leo, a big Tesla shareholder, said Wednesday that Musk "abandoned" his commitment to Tesla.
A Tesla investor struck out at Elon Musk in a tweet and said the Twitter owner is "killing the company with his antics."
Joe Cirincione, a national-security analyst and author, tweeted Friday that he wants Musk to "get off Twitter." He said since Musk announced he would buy Twitter, the value of his shares has been sliced in half.
"I'm a @Tesla investor and I want @elonmusk to get off @Twitter. The value of my shares has been cut in half since he made his move to take over this platform. I love my Model 3, but he is killing the company with his antics," Cirincione tweeted.
Cirincione's comments came days after KoGuan Leo, a major Tesla shareholder, said in a tweet that Musk "abandoned" his responsibilities to the electric-car maker and called for a replacement chief executive to take over.
"Elon abandoned Tesla and Tesla has no working CEO. Tesla needs and deserves to have working full time CEO," Leo tweeted on Wednesday.
He added: "What Tesla BOD should do, do nothing? Elon will find his own successor under BOD independent supervision."
Musk came under further scrutiny this week for suspending journalists who criticized him on the platform. He took the decision to temporarily ban reporters from the site Thursday after a Twitter Space where journalists questioned his move to ban an account that tracks his private jet took place.
He then said he would reinstate journalists' accounts on Friday following a poll he tweeted to his followers asking if he should reinstate accounts that "doxxed" his real-time location "now" or in a week.
Cirincione and Tesla did not immediately respond to Insider's request for comment, made outside normal working hours.
