Tesla tumbles, Trump attacks Amazon again, Nvidia worries grow

Tesla (TSLA): shares dropping here, down over 7%. A few headlines today – In a series of April Fool’s tweets, Elon Musk joked that the company was bankrupt, surprising investors. Separately, the automaker confirmed autopilot was engaged during a deadly crash in March. Tesla says the driver was warned several times to grab the steering wheel.

Amazon (AMZN): shares slipping in early trade, down around 1%. President Trump launched another twitter attack on Amazon over the weekend, accusing the site of getting unfairly cheap rates from USPS, and not paying enough tax.

Nvidia (NVDA): Shares are lower here, down more than 3%. The one-time darling of tech investors facing headwinds recently, and now a Wells Fargo note claims risks are rising “significantly,” due to the big drop in cryptocurrencies. Nvidia chips are frequently used in crypto mining.
