Blood Pressure: Apple is likely hoping to monitor blood pressure with a new platform, reports AppleInsider. A new patent from the company details its possible plans for the system. This could include a continuous monitoring of a person’s information via a wearable device. This wearable device is likely the tech company’s smartwatch. The system will also be able to provide extensive data about a person’s day, including how their blood pressure responds to different situations.
iPhone X Supply: Another report claims that supplies of the iPhone X won’t meet demand, MacRumors notes. According to this report, the tech company is still having trouble with its TrueDepth cameras. As a result, analysts are expecting an even lower shipment of the smartphones than before. Current expectations have the iPhone X entering mass production by mid-October. The first shipments will likely start next week. The iPhone X comes out on Nov. 3, 2017.
iPhone 8 Battery: The first case of iPhone 8 battery issues has shown up in the U.S., reports BGR. An employee for Best Buy Co Inc (NYSE:BBY) says that their store had an iPhone 8 with a swollen battery returned by a customer. The swelling of the battery pushes the display off of the devices as a safety measure. The issue isn’t widespread, but there have been a few cases of this happening around the world.
