Time Warner Cable (TWC) said Q2 EPS rose 14% to $1.69, beating views by 4 cents. Revenue rose 2.7% to $5.55 bil, but fell short of estimates for $5.58 bil. The cable TV provider said it lost 191,000 video subscribers in Q2, up from 169,000 a year earlier. Time Warner Cable added only 8,000 high-speed Internet subscribers, down from 59,000 a year earlier. Shares rose 3.2% to 117.68.
