MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. (AP) _ Tintri Inc. (TNTR) on Monday reported a loss of $37.4 million in its fiscal fourth quarter.
The Mountain View, California-based company said it had a loss of $1.19 per share. Losses, adjusted for stock option expense and non-recurring costs, were 72 cents per share.
The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of six analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 81 cents per share.
The enterprise cloud platform company posted revenue of $28.9 million in the period, which also beat Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $26.3 million.
For the year, the company reported a loss of $157.7 million, or $6.98 per share. Revenue was reported as $125.9 million.
For the current quarter ending in May, Tintri Inc. expects its results to range from a loss of 68 cents per share to a loss of 64 cents per share.
The company said it expects revenue in the range of $20 million to $21 million for the fiscal first quarter.
Tintri Inc. shares have increased slightly since the beginning of the year.
