Apple Inc. shares closed up 1.95% on about 35 million shares traded yesterday. It was a day of big news for Apple yesterday. First, the tech giant has revealed that it has acquired Shazam, a UK-based company that has an app that allows you to identify music by holding your phone up to the audio source. According to TechCrunch, the deal is valued at around $400 million. In other news the company's new GymKit, which was unveiled just this past summer, will be hitting the U.S. this week. The platform is designed to make the Apple Watch a more seamless experience that combines NFC and Bluetooth to maintain a constant exchange of information between the devices. The data is displayed on the watch as well as the machine's display. A knock-off app of MyEtherWallet.com also landed on the top of the iOS Apple Store charts this weekend but the app is not official. The creators of the real MyEtherWallet said in a tweet that they have contacted Apple already to have the app removed.
