TODAY'S CHARTS: Apple boosts Finisar, Helios and Matheson tumbles, Western Digital Settles

Finisar (FNSR) up big as Apple announced the manufacturer of optical communications will receive $390 million from Apple’s (AAPL) Advanced Manufacturing fund. Taking a look at the chart, shares are chugging higher, up over 20%.

Up Next – Helios and Matheson (HMNY). The parent of Moviepass, the subscription theatrical movie service in the news as it announced a complicated share offering of over 8 million new shares, plus warrants. Check out the chart, shares are tumbling over 20% – but remember this stock is up big in 2017.

Finally – Western Digital (WDC). The maker of hard disk and memory systems in the green as it announced a global settlement agreement with Toshiba to settle all ongoing litigation related to their flash memory businesses. Looking at the chart, Western Digital shares are up in the single digits today.
