TODAY'S CHARTS: Nvidia hits all-time high, Equifax troubles mount, Northrop Grumman to buy Orbital ATK

Here are the stocks we’re tracking today:

Nvidia (NVDA) hit an all-time high today after getting yet another bullish call. Analysts at Bank of America Merrill Lynch expect Nvidia will be the dominant supplier in the $30 billion AI chip market. Merrill’s new price target of $210 means it expects the stock will rally about 17% from Friday’s close.

Shares are up over 4% on the news. That follows Evercore ISI’s bullish note on Friday, where analysts raised their price target to $250 per share.

Troubles continue at Equifax (EFX) after the massive data breach on September 7. Two of its top executives, chief information officer and chief security officer, are leaving the company. In addition to that, short-seller Carson Block is suing Equifax, according to the Financial Times.

Shares of Equifax slipped nearly 2% before the bell but have climbed back slightly midday to trade at $92.75.

Finally, defense giant Northrop Grumman (NOC) is buying Orbital ATK (OA) for $9.2 billion in cash and debt. Shareholders will get $134.50 per share, a 22% premium to its Friday close. The stock is up nearly 21% on the news.
