WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwired - Sep 25, 2014) - Gwen Ifill, co-anchor and managing editor of PBS NewsHour and moderator and managing editor of Washington Week, moderated America After Ferguson, a town hall meeting that explored the many issues that have been brought into the public discourse in the wake of Michael Brown's death in Ferguson, Missouri. The program, produced by WGBH Boston in partnership with the Nine Network/KETC in St. Louis and WETA in Washington DC, will air Friday, September 26, 2014, 8:00-9:00 p.m. ET on PBS.
America After Ferguson was taped before an audience on Sunday, September 21, at the Touhill Performing Arts Center on the campus of the University of Missouri-St. Louis. Intended for audiences in communities across the country, America After Ferguson included national leaders in the areas of law enforcement, race and civil rights, as well as government officials, faith leaders and youth.
Broadcast Management Group ("BMG") was contracted to provide production management, logistics, technical support, operations, equipment and production crew to tape this town hall event.
