Top 7 stays unchanged in post-Week 11 AP poll

A lack of upsets in Week 11 meant some calm atop Sunday’s AP top 25.

The top seven teams in the post-Week 11 poll are the same seven teams at the top of the previous week’s poll. The first change comes at No. 8, where Washington State moved up two spots after beating Colorado. Ohio State fell to No. 9 and LSU fell to No. 10.

The top four teams in last week’s AP poll were the same four teams in the top four of the College Football Playoff rankings. That should not change this week either. Alabama beat Mississippi State, Clemson beat Boston College, Notre Dame beat Florida State and Michigan beat Rutgers on Saturday.

There was a lot of subtle movement outside the top 10. Syracuse moved up a spot to No. 12 and Texas moved up two spots to No. 13. Boise State makes an appearance at No. 23 after beating Fresno State on Friday night.
