Have you heard about the Clover dating app? The principle is simple: the app helps people meet. A more recent feature called "On-Demand Dating" sets people up "blindly," with other users near them.
A study recently conducted by the company looks into the Most Popular On-Demand Dating Locations. The results are based on data collected from 200,000 Clover users aged between 18 and 65 going on first dates.
Men (51 percent) usually prefer to meet at restaurants, while women (52 percent) normally choose coffee shops. Surprisingly, bars are quite unpopular locations, both among men (only 18 percent of them preferred bars for first dates) and women (13 percent).
Women's desires prevail when choosing the location for first blind dates. The most popular place to meet is Starbucks Corporation (NASDAQ: SBUX) by a wide margin among all age groups.
The runner up? Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. (NYSE: CMG), popular among the 18 to 24 age group.

Panera Bread Co (NASDAQ: PNRA) came in third, followed by the Cheesecake Factory Inc (NASDAQ: CAKE) -- which was the most popular restaurant among people aged 25 to 34 -- and Texas Roadhouse Inc (NASDAQ: TXRH).
People over 35 years old prefer the Olive Garden, owned by Darden Restaurants, Inc. (NYSE: DRI), for a first date if it were to happen in a restaurant.
