Every year, the nice people over at Google release a series of lists showing the big trends of the year, and they're often full of surprises.

While last year's top searched celeb in the UK was Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex didn't make it into the 2019 top 10. This year, Caitlyn Jenner was most searched celeb, due to her recent I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here jungle stint.

This year, a Love Island star also made it into the top 10 - and it looks it's the very first time someone from the reality show has ever appeared.

So, without further ado, the most searched for Love Island 2019 star was Tommy Fury. The boxer came in at fourth place on the list. Love Island was also the third most searched show of the year after Game of Thrones, which was first and Netflix documentary Chernobyl.

Meanwhile, following a drama-filled year YouTube star James Charles was the second most searched celeb. Two more I'm A Celeb stars also made it onto the top 10 - Adele Roberts and Nadine Coyle.
