Toro: Fiscal 2Q Earnings Snapshot

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (AP) _ Toro Co. (TTC) on Thursday reported fiscal second-quarter earnings of $115.6 million.

The Bloomington, Minnesota-based company said it had net income of $1.07 per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were $1.17 per share.

The landscaping, maintenance and irrigation equipment maker posted revenue of $962 million in the period.

For the current quarter ending in August, Toro expects its per-share earnings to range from 70 cents to 75 cents.

The company expects full-year earnings in the range of $2.90 to $3 per share, with revenue expected to be $3.2 billion.

Toro shares have climbed 26% since the beginning of the year. The stock has climbed 17% in the last 12 months.
