ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) _ Trans World Entertainment Corp. (TWMC) on Tuesday reported a fiscal first-quarter loss of $8.1 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Albany, New York-based company said it had a loss of 22 cents.
The specialty retailer posted revenue of $96.6 million in the period.
The company's shares closed at $1.15. A year ago, they were trading at $1.65.
