DALLAS (AP) _ Transcontinental Realty Investors Inc. (TCI) on Wednesday reported a second-quarter loss of $6.3 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
The Dallas-based company said it had a loss of 73 cents per share.
The real estate investor posted revenue of $11.8 million in the period.
Transcontinental Realty shares have dropped 18% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $23.17, a fall of 28% in the last 12 months.
