The Morrisville, North Carolina-based company said it had a loss of 17 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs and amortization costs, were 6 cents per share.
The maker of surgical robots and medical instruments posted revenue of $6.4 million in the period.
TransEnterix shares have more than doubled since the beginning of the year. The stock has risen sevenfold in the last 12 months.
