The bank, based in Chico, California, said it had earnings of 76 cents per share.
The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 70 cents per share.
The holding company for Tri Counties Bank posted revenue of $80.7 million in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $76.6 million, which also beat Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $73.9 million.
For the year, the company reported profit of $68.3 million, or $2.54 per share. Revenue was reported as $264.6 million.
TriCo shares have increased almost 5 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $35.45, a decline of 5.5 percent in the last 12 months.
