Trident's new Fastrac12 is an enhanced and quicker path to graduation available in certain masters-level programs, allowing students to shorten their time of completion by six months.
CYPRESS, Calif., Jan. 25, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Trident University International (Trident) is excited to announce Fastrac12, an enhanced and quicker path to graduation available in certain masters-level programs.
Fastrac12 allows students to finish a master's degree in 12 months, which shortens time of completion by six months versus the traditional Fastrac18. With this new track, students take nine courses over six 8-week sessions, alternating between one and two classes, while students on the Fastrac18 path take one course per session over nine sessions.
Both tracks require the successful completion of the same nine courses for a total of 36 credit hours.
"The new Fastrac12 track is a great fit for our career-focused adult student population," states Dr. Mihaela Tanasescu, Provost and Chief Academic Officer, Trident. "While the two tracks require an identical amount of coursework, Fastrac12 allows students to meet their academic goals sooner."
Fastrac12 is available for Trident's online master's programs in Business Administration (MBA), Homeland Security, Human Resources Management, Health Sciences, Leadership, Healthcare Administration, and Information Technology Management. Fastrac10, a ten-month track, is available for the University's Master of Arts in Education program.
Fastrac12 is just one of several exciting improvements to the student experience that Trident is set to implement in 2019.
