MISSISSAUGA, Ontario (AP) _ Trillium Therapeutics Inc. (TRIL) on Monday reported a loss of $8 million in its first quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Mississauga, Ontario-based company said it had a loss of 46 cents.

The company's shares closed at 59 cents. A year ago, they were trading at $6.60.
