The online travel booking site will kick off the 1st national TV ad campaign in its 13-year history. The new ad campaign will highlight the TripAdvisor's (TRIP) popular green bubble ratings that let consumers rate their travel experiences to show their overall satisfaction with a trip. The bubbles are shown in the TV ads as shorthand for rating travel experiences. TripAdvisor also said it's launching TV ads tests in some other markets, including Argentina, France and Spain. The announcement comes after TV ads that began running during Q2 in Boston, Houston and other major cities. Shares fell 0.01%.
