SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico (AP) _ Triple-S Management Corp. (GTS) on Thursday reported a third-quarter loss of $17.6 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.

The San Juan, Puerto Rico-based company said it had a loss of 77 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for investment gains, were 97 cents per share.

The insurance services provider posted revenue of $770.6 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $764 million.

Triple-S Management shares have declined 22 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has fallen 20 percent in the last 12 months.
