PITTSBURGH (AP) _ TriState Capital Holdings Inc. (TSC) on Wednesday reported third-quarter profit of $16.3 million.
The bank, based in Pittsburgh, said it had earnings of 50 cents per share.
The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 44 cents per share.
The holding company for TriState Capital Bank posted revenue of $82 million in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $46.6 million, which also topped Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $45.4 million.
TriState shares have increased 11% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $21.60, a decrease of 17% in the last 12 months.
