Triumph Bancorp: 3Q Earnings Snapshot

DALLAS (AP) _ Triumph Bancorp Inc. (TBK) on Wednesday reported third-quarter earnings of $9.2 million.

The Dallas-based bank said it had earnings of 34 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for costs related to mergers and acquisitions, came to 51 cents per share.

The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 45 cents per share.

The financial holding company posted revenue of $77.8 million in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $67.8 million, which did not meet Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $68.3 million.

Triumph Bancorp shares have climbed 17 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $36.97, a climb of 17 percent in the last 12 months.
