BERWYN, Pa. (AP) _ Triumph Group Inc. (TGI) on Thursday reported a loss of $30.9 million in its fiscal third quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Berwyn, Pennsylvania-based company said it had a loss of 62 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs and restructuring costs, were 42 cents per share.
The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of six analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 38 cents per share.
The aircraft supplier posted revenue of $807.9 million in the period, missing Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $822.3 million.
Triumph Group expects full-year earnings in the range of $1.50 to $2.10 per share, with revenue in the range of $3.3 billion to $3.4 billion.
Triumph Group shares have risen 72 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has fallen 22 percent in the last 12 months.
