GLENVILLE, N.Y. (AP) _ TrustCo Bank Corp. NY (TRST) on Thursday reported fourth-quarter earnings of $13.8 million.

The Glenville, New York-based bank said it had earnings of 14 cents per share.

The holding company for Trustco Bank posted revenue of $47.2 million in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $43.3 million, missing Street forecasts.

For the year, the company reported profit of $52.5 million, or 54 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $170.8 million.

TrustCo shares have risen 7% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $7.15, a decline of 14% in the last 12 months.
