TuneIn adds 40 CBS Radio stations' programs

PALO ALTO, Calif. (AP) -- Free online radio service TuneIn says it will now carry programming from 40 CBS Radio news, talk and sports stations across the country, including at least one in every top 10 market, on a non-exclusive basis.

TuneIn says it has 30 million active users every month and offers access to more than 50,000 radio stations on mobile devices, computers and connected vehicle dashboards. TuneIn says it raised venture capital funding from Sequoia Capital in January 2011.

As part of the multi-year deal, CBS Radio stations will gain access to TuneIn data and analytics.
