VANCOUVER , Sept. 4, 2019 /CNW/ - Turquoise Hill Resources Ltd. (the "Company") (TRQ) received an automatic notice from Nasdaq Stock Market LLC ("Nasdaq") on August 28, 2019 that the Company is no longer in compliance with Nasdaq Rule 5450(a)(1) because the Company's common shares have failed to maintain a minimum bid price of US$1.00 per share for a period of 30 consecutive business days. In order to regain compliance, the Company's common shares must have a closing bid price of at least US$1.00 for a minimum of 10 consecutive trading days. Under Nasdaq rules, the Company has 180 calendar days to regain compliance with the minimum bid price requirement. The Company has notified Nasdaq that it intends to pursue measures to cure the share price noncompliance. The Company is in compliance with all other Nasdaq Listing Rules. The Company's common shares will continue to be listed and traded on Nasdaq during the cure period, subject to compliance with Nasdaq's other continued listing standards.
