Tutoring is Not Cheating: Easy Group/EZ EDU Has Made Clear Its Approach to Academic Integrity

·2 min read

TORONTO, September 15, 2021--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Since 2020, EZ EDU has hosted a number of testimonials and reports to convey the true voice and positive image of international students to the media and society. In 2021, Jacky Zhang, CEO of Easy Group, was invited to speak out from his perspective regarding "hybrid learning," showing the positive objectives of "working closely with universities to guarantee that overseas students have the same learning experience as local students, while adhering to all principles and following the highest standards of academic integrity," Zhang said.

It is clear that some unauthorized cheating services are posing a significant potential risk to students, and the university is also aware of this threat. In recent conversations with campus representatives, it has become clear that, in addition to the established brand of Tutoring Services within a distance from the campus, there are a number of unscrupulous agencies and individuals that are difficult for the school to identify or distinguish, providing various services to students that are illegal but difficult to track and are deeply troubling. This is why the school authorities have repeatedly warned about the risks of tutoring, and that in addition to the prestigious institutions, it is important to be more aware of pseudo-tutoring agency such as "low-cost courses" and "ghostwriter" services, and to be careful about the leakage of personal information and the loss of possessions. In this regard, EZ EDU and the universities both agree to make the smart choice and not cheat. Choose your tutoring service carefully, and don't trust the fictitious academic promises of unknown institutions and individuals.

In order to regulate academic behaviour and help students achieve their academic goals, in the fall semester, EZ EDU has updated its academic regulations and rules to ensure that all courses provided from EZ EDU comply with the university's academic regulations and that course materials are submitted for review and approval to ensure compliance with the principles of academic integrity and regulations. In addition, EZ EDU has updated its Honor Code for the use of online teaching tools to ensure that all students who choose EZ EDU and its related services for their courses are aware of and committed to not using course content and teaching aids to cheat.
