Twitter reacts: Tee Higgins shines on Thursday Night Football

Former Clemson wide receiver Tee Higgins had another strong performance for the Cincinnati Bengals, helping lift the team to a 27-15 win over the then-undefeated Miami Dolphins.

As many know, the Bengals have one of the absolute best wide receiver rooms in the NFL, if not the best. A group headlined by Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, Cincinnati starting quarterback Joe Burrow has many options to utilize in this offense.

Heading into this season, while Higgins got a lot of well-deserved hype, his counterpart, Chase, was getting most of the love. They may be a 1A, 1B pairing, but many people didn’t see things that way after Chase’s breakout rookie season. More often than not, Chase will be considered the alpha of this group.

Another massive performance out of Higgins this Thursday might have people thinking differently, however. Higgins had a field day, routinely lined up against the Miami Dolphins’ top cornerback in Xavien Howard.

The third-year wideout secured seven catches for 124 yards and a touchdown, pacing the team with nine targets in the game. Higgins led the team in all four categories to go along with a beautiful 59-yard catch and run for six on Howard en route to a win.

It was an excellent performance out Higgins.

Here’s a look at how Twitter reacted to Higgins’ big Thursday night:
