U.S. 10-year Treasury yield rises to 1.74%

LONDON, March 18 (Reuters) - The U.S. 10-year Treasury yield rose to 1.74% for the first time since January 2020 on Thursday, up around 10 basis points on the day.
The U.S. Federal Reserve said it expected higher economic growth and inflation in the U.S. this year and repeated its pledge to keep its target interest rate near zero. (Reporting by Elizabeth Howcroft, editing by Karin Strohecker)
