U.S. EPA to propose to increase biofuel blending volumes for 2023, 2024, 2025 - sources

NEW YORK, Nov 30 (Reuters) - The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency plans to propose this week to increase for 2023, 2024 and 2025 the amount of renewable fuels that oil refiners must blend into their fuel mix, sources familiar with the matter said.

The EPA plans to propose in a long-awaited announcement biofuel blending mandates at 20.82 billion gallons in 2023, 21.87 billion gallons in 2024 and 22.68 billion gallons in 2025, sources said. (Reporting by Stephanie Kelly and Jarrett Renshaw; Editing by Chris Reese)
