U.S. net short dollar bets climb to highest since late Sept -CFTC, Reuters

NEW YORK, Dec 28 (Reuters) - U.S. dollar net short positioning in the latest week swelled to its largest since late September, according to calculations by Reuters and Commodity Futures Trading Commission data released on Monday.

The value of the net short dollar position was $30.15 billion in the week ended Dec. 21, up from net shorts of $26.56 billion the previous week. (Reporting by Gertrude Chavez-Dreyfuss; Editing by Leslie Adler)
