U.S. State Dept OKs possible military sale to Kuwait -Pentagon
WASHINGTON, April 6 (Reuters) - The U.S. State Department has approved the possible sale to Kuwait of facilities and construction support services estimated to cost $319 million, the U.S. Defense Security Cooperation Agency said on Thursday.
Kuwait has requested the possible sale for the design and construction of key airfield operations, command and control, readiness, sustainment, and life support facilities for the Al Mubarak Airbase in Kuwait, the Pentagon agency said in a statement.
