Investing.com — Uber Technologies Inc (NYSE:UBER) announced Monday morning that it has partnered with Bed Bath&Beyond Inc (NASDAQ:BBBY) and Buy Buy Baby to introduce baby and kids merchandise for sale and delivery through the Uber Eats app.

Uber said the new hub will allow "parents to get all of their baby, kids and family essentials on-demand and delivered right to their door."

A catalog of baby and home products from nearly 120 Buy Buy Baby and over 750 Bed Bath&Beyond locations in the U.S. will be available for delivery through the Uber and Uber Eats apps.

The new baby and kids hub will also include other brands, including Honest, Yumi, Lalo, Little Spoon, and Nyssa, Uber said.

"We're thrilled to be able to offer parents and caregivers an easy and convenient way to find everything they need for their families, and have it delivered to their doorsteps," said Raj Beri, Uber's vice president and global head of grocery and new verticals.

"Every parent knows the stress of urgently needing diapers, pacifiers, thermometers and more—and we know that our new baby and kids hub will help to alleviate some of the stress," added Beri.

Uber shares rose more than 2% to $44.74. Bed Bath&Beyond shares rose 5%.
