Paris, October 16, 2018 - Today, Ubisoft announced the appointment of Frédérick Duguet as Chief Financial Officer, replacing Alain Martinez, who will retire at the end of 2018. This appointment will be effective as of January 1, 2019.
Frédérick Duguet is currently Chief Financial Planning Officer, a position he has held since joining Ubisoft in 2009. During this time, he has acquired detailed knowledge of the company, as well as an in-depth understanding of the video game industry. He also has comprehensive experience in management and finance acquired from his tenure with other major international groups, such as Procter & Gamble and L`Oréal between 2002 and 2009. Before joining Ubisoft, Duguet was Finance Director for L`Oréal`s luxury products division in France.
Since joining Ubisoft, Frédérick has worked closely with Alain and his teams. Together, they have contributed to enabling Ubisoft`s digital transformation, leading to more recurring revenues and a more profitable group profile. The two will continue to work together in the coming months to ensure a smooth transition.
