UFC 246 results: Conor McGregor vs Cowboy, main card and every preliminary fight result tonight
Conor McGregor makes his much-anticipated return to the Octagon this evening when he takes on Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone in the main event of UFC 246 in Las Vegas.
It is the Irishman’s first MMA bout since he lost to the undefeated lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov in October 2018, a result which sent his life spiralling out of control.
But the former two-weight world champion has promised that he is back on the right track and this week told reporters that he is fighting for “revenge, retribution and respect”.
McGregor’s fight with Cerrone is not the only reason to tune into UFC 246, however. Holly Holm takes on Raquel Pennington in the co-main event of the evening, while elsewhere Aleksei Oleinik fights Maurice Greene and Anthony Pettis challenges Carlos Diego Ferreira.
