The country has been plagued by fuel shortages for several months, with drivers having to queue for hours to fill up, fuel rationing in place in some areas, and prices at the pumps rising.

“In addition to bombing oil refineries, Russia is shooting at any route, including the railway and bridges, to stop us getting either diesel or gasoline,” said the president.

“Nevertheless, I believe that little by little we are getting out of this energy crisis, and the market is filling up (with fuel).”

Zelenskyy said that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine was gradually fulfilling the tasks of providing Ukraine with sufficient energy resources.
