Ukraine to introduce state regulation of gas prices - PM

KYIV, Jan 13 (Reuters) - Ukraine will introduce state regulation of gas prices for households during lockdown or for the whole heating season aiming to avoid a sharp jump in energy bills, Prime Minister Denys Shmygal said on Wednesday.

Shmygal told a televised government meeting the uniform gas price would total 6.99 hryvnia ($0.25) per cubic metre. (Reporting by Pavel Polityuk and Natalia Zinets, editing by Louise Heavens)
