KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) _ UMB Financial Corp. (UMBF) on Tuesday reported second-quarter earnings of $57 million.
The bank, based in Kansas City, Missouri, said it had earnings of $1.16 per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were $1.17 per share.
The results met Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was also for earnings of $1.17 per share.
The bank holding company posted revenue of $322.1 million in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $271.8 million, exceeding Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $270.7 million.
UMB shares have increased 11% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $67.95, a decrease of almost 5% in the last 12 months.
