United rewards hackers, Ford's big discount and Google set to report

U.S. stocks (^DJI, ^GSPC, ^IXIC) are marginally higher today after Greece's parliament voted to accept a new bailout plan with hard austerity measures. Google earnings on the way
Tech giant Google (GOOGL) is set to report earnings today after the closing bell. Shares of the company are up more than nine percent in 2015 but down close to three percent from the same time last year. New CFO Ruth Porat is being closely watched by Wall Street this earnings season, her first with the company.

Ford's big discount
Ford (F) is offering some big discounts on it's popular F-150 line - as big as $10,000 on the higher end versions of the pick-up truck. This comes after June sales of the vehicle slid by 8.9 percent. Thought it should be noted at least part of that could have something to do with supply issues on the latest model.

United rewards hackers
United Airlines (UAL) has doled out a million free miles each to two hackers who exposed holes in the company's web security. Other hackers have tweeted that they were also awarded miles from the company, though not as many. These so-call "bug bounty" programs are becoming more popular as harmful hackers become ever more savvy, and companies are enlisting ethical hackers to help out.
