United Stationers CFO Khan leaving company

DEERFIELD, Ill. (AP) -- United Stationers' Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Fareed Khan is leaving the company for a job elsewhere.

The business products distributor did not disclose which company Khan would be joining.

United Stationers Inc. said Friday that Todd Shelton will become its new senior vice president and CFO. Shelton has spent 12 years with the Deerfield, Ill., company. He has been the president of United Stationers Supply. His new appointments are effective immediately.

President and CEO Cody Phipps said in a statement on Friday that he will be responsible for leading the supply business on an interim basis.
