Is (WM) Outperforming Other Business Services Stocks This Year?

Universal Stainless & Alloy Products (USAP) came out with quarterly earnings of $0.44 per share, missing the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $0.45 per share. This compares to earnings of $0.02 per share a year ago. These figures are adjusted for non-recurring items.

This quarterly report represents an earnings surprise of -2.22%. A quarter ago, it was expected that this specialty steel maker would post earnings of $0.44 per share when it actually produced earnings of $0.44, delivering no surprise.

Over the last four quarters, the company has surpassed consensus EPS estimates just once.

Universal Stainless, which belongs to the Zacks Steel - Producers industry, posted revenues of $69.06 million for the quarter ended September 2018, missing the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 1.38%.
